Rajkiya Mahavidyalaya Kotabagh (Nainital) was established in the year 2006 to cater to the needs of higher education of the youths of Kotabagh region. The students from remote villages of hills and Kotabagh valley comes to study in the college.

It is affiliated to Kumaun University Nainital since its inception. It is recognised by University Grants Commission under 12(f) of the UGC act of 1956. Rajkiya Mahavidyalaya Kotabagh has distinction of successfully running various types of courses. The Students of this College Have Been Participating At University, state, and National in Sports, NSS and Rovers And rangers Actively.

The Teaching faculty of The College Has Been Regularly Participating in various Conventions, Seminars, Symposiums. Various Books, Articles and Research Papers Have Been is Published By The Faculty Members.

Being a Perennial Source of Knowledge The College is All Set to Fly High and Make Definite Progress in All walks of Knowledge in Future.
