The Department of Sociology, Govt. Degree College Kotabagh is one of the oldest Departments of College. Department has been providing teaching at Undergraduate levels since establishment year of college, 2006 and Postgraduate levels since 2021 and Research Programmes since 2020. Two Research Scholar are doing PhD in the department. The Department of Sociology has been doing pioneering work in the field of teaching, research and extension activities meant for knowledge generation, knowledge sharing and knowledge dissemination.
